Lusona has an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Accountant to join our client in Glasgow city centre for a fixed term contract. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Commercial Accountant will focus on business analysis and insight delivering efficient strategic business planning, and budgeting & forecasting activities to assist leadership team and provide high-quality insight analysis to assist with key business decisions.
The successful candidate will be able to turn data into information Interesting to non-finance managers and duties will include:
The successful candidate will ideally be a Qualified Accountant with excellent Ms Excel skills , have previously worked as a finance business partner/Commercial accountant role and ideally come from a large company background. - Leading project forecast activity and producing financial reports for a number of significant projects
- Preparing management information for both strategic and operational purposes including strategic financial planning, financial governance and budget monitoring
- Monitoring and developing financial processes to ensure the business finances are well controlled
- Providing expert professional advice and guidance to staff across the business
The successful candidate will ideally be a Qualified Accountant with excellent Ms Excel skills , have previously worked as a finance business partner/Commercial accountant role and ideally come from a large company background.
