Financial Controller for Growing Medical Practice
Join Our Family ! We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, Financial Controller, to join our team! Family Allergy & Asthma is a group of board–certified allergy and asthma specialists practicing at over 43 locations throughout Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee. We also provide patient care through our sleep medicine division/Expert Sleep. Our ideal candidate is a CPA with a minimum of 10 years experience in accounting, audit, compliance and SOPs. Proven experience with accelerated growth and expansion is highly preferred . Controller responsibilities may include: Responsible for the accounting and financial aspects of the practice with direct communication with the CFO and CEO. Strong handle on accounting standards and internal controls. Experience with documenting departmental processes and controls. Experience with consolidation of multiple entity financial statements. Project Management. Ability to communicate and effectively work with all levels of staff, physicians and peers. Financial Statement preparation. Assist with data analysis, budget preparations and forecasting. Proficiently use Excel, building complex formulas for forecasting and other data reporting. Ability to extract data from various systems and accurately present information. Ability to work autonomously and also has a strategic team member. Analyzes information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information. Assist outside firm with tax preparation through work paper development and support. Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts. Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements. Ability to proficiently develop and adhere to standard operating, compliance and audit procedures. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes accounting and organization's mission by completing accurate and timely results.
