The Role Responsibilities
Risk Management
- Collation and distribution of risk metrics and data to the Country Tax/Finance Managers and other stakeholders where relevant.
- Support all relevant client tax due diligence remediation processes rolled out at Group Level comprises of completion monitoring and proactively identify anomalies and share/escalate to Country Tax/Finance Managers.
- Review relevant monitoring and sample testing in line with Group Minimum Control Standards Framework (CTI RTF) and local client tax regulations to assist Country Tax/Finance Managers to make informed decisions as second line risk owner.
- Assisting the team oversee the Risk Control Owner activities and day-to-day compliance management responsibilities, including compliance monitoring to ensure that potential risks and or process failures, are properly identified and for which appropriate remediation and treatment plans are defined
- Assisting with the set up and management of the assurance framework, establishing a review methodology and framework. Engage relevant stakeholders, coordinating and collating responses and ensuring that review time-lines are adhered to.
- Assisting with the management of response to queries from tax authorities, including to audit reviews and keeping track of responses. Engage relevant stakeholders, coordinating and collating responses and ensuring that review time-lines are adhered to.
- Driving attestation exercises (e.g. ERMF) coordinating and collate responses ensuring proper roll-up of certifications
- Assisting with the completion of CRS country annex (and FATCA country annex where relevant) - working with SME and Country Risk Owner to obtain relevant sign off and thereafter to publish the annex.
- Provide support to the team to ensure that they establish and monitor appropriate processes for compliance with client tax policies and standards.
- Introduce appropriate change control procedure around key Client Tax documents and work with team members to ensure that ownership is allocated to the appropriate party.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years relevant working experience, preferably in the banking industry.
- Strong governance background with the ability to communicate requirements clearly.
- Experience in operations, compliance, audit and/or data management
- Able to analyse data and risk metrics
- Good time management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a high pressure environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and writing skills.
