Assistant Accountant Job, Leeds City Centre, £25k
Your new company
You will be working with one of the largest financial services organisations in the UK, who now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join their finance team on a permanent basis, and take supervisory responsibility for the team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success. You will be a motivated accounts professional that is confident in supervising individuals. Similar industry experience is desirable.

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Overall management of financial and transactional activities
- Manage the processing of bank receipts
- Manage and maintain direct debit processes
- Monitor costs and performance
- Enhance existing systems to provide cost centre analysis
- Support the administration of the company payroll and pension provision
- Ensure that bank reconciliations are kept up to date and balanced
- Take control of all treasury functions
- Complete a monthly Finance report
