The Assistant Management Accountant shall play a vital part for my clients accountancy team based in Croydon.
Client Details
My client a well known company in their industry, are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy and growing accountancy team in Croydon.
Description
The day to day duties for the Assistant Management Accountant shall be:
- Full Commentary on variances giving complete insight into what is driving the variances.
- Understand the drivers of current performance and challenge current thinking
- Liaise with the relevant departments to ensure that costs are recorded on an accurate and timely basis and any variances to plan are investigated.
- Identifying areas of improvement and development and implementing the process within the team
- Understand the drivers of current performance and challenge current thinking
- Calculating, reviewing & posting of accruals
- Review & manage Officefleet & courier costs
- Production and analysis of stock adjustment tracker report
- Stock accounting managing a balance of circa £30m
Profile
The successful candidate shall be able to travel to Croydon for work
Have experience in management accounts,
Actively studying towards a finance qualification in ACCA or CIMA.
Job Offer
Salary £32,000-£38,000
