Senior Project Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Finance Team on a permanent basis as a Senior Project Accountant, based in One Stratford Place, reporting directly to the Deputy Finance Director.

Role and Accountability

The post holder will identify opportunities to preserve and create value for shareholders and wider stakeholders, while proactively managing costs and risks. Using business insight, you will translate complex information and communicate it effectively, enabling the organisation to solve problems, take the right decisions, fund them properly and implement them successfully. You will critically analyse and report on all areas of current and future financial performance of specific Departments and/or Projects, thereby ensuring a sound basis for management control and decision making, whilst providing financial input into key areas of business and strategic planning processes. You will manage and lead a team of 2 Project Accountants.

Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications Required

The candidate must hold an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) and have experience with managing a portfolio of projects.
