ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT MANAGER

Responsible for assisting to oversee all accounting and finance functions for the department.
Responsible for accurate and timely financial and management reporting.
Ensure financial reports are completed and submitted according to the schedule, determined by the management.
Assist to prepare the financial budget ad financial analysis and interpretation of financial data.
Assist to prepare for the yearly audited report and ensure tax returns are submitted on a timely basis.
Review, propose and monitor operations systems and controls.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Ensure compliance in accounting standards, statutory filing requirements and reporting in line with the company's policies and procedures.
Responsible to communicate with all levels to drive financial performance and internal control.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, legal officers and other statutory bodies / authorities.
Perform any additional adhoc assignments as & when required.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Those with accounting professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / MICPA / ASCPA) recognized by MIA or equivalent would be an added advantage.
At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Experience from audit background is highly desired.
Must be have good interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Must be a self-starter with a high level of diligence, initiative, strong team player, well-organized, have high integrity and good sense of responsibility.
Good in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using computerized accounting system.
Applicants must be willing to work at Kawasan Pelabuhan Kuantan, Kuantan, Pahang.
