Job role
  • Review and enhance the current risk and compliance program and monitor implementation

  • Review and enhance the current corporate governance program and monitor implementation

  • Stay abreast of local laws and regulations relevant to the company’s activities

  • Review company’s policies and procedures on regular basis and recommend amendments to enhance them

  • Ensure that the different activities of the company are in compliance with local laws and regulations

  • Conduct continuous risk assessment, classify risks into different categories (high, middle and low level) and estimate financial and non-financial impact of various risks

  • Prepare regular compliance and risk reports to the company’s board and other stakeholders

  • Carry out the proper control procedures aiming at reducing risks to an acceptable rate

  • Prepare special register for risks with all the details related thereto, current controls and procedures with the aim of reducing them in addition to any time frame related thereto, and measurement of the outstanding risks

  • Provide support and training to the staff to build risk awareness within the company
