A growing and forward moving firm of chartered accountants based in Wadhurst has a requirement for a Part time or Full Time Trainee Accounts Assistant / Technician to join their team. You will technically progress and develop in a very varied role with all around involvement and focus on accounts preparation, tax and other wide ranging service provision, in a role and firm where you can develop and progress in your career.

Description

Joining as Part time or Full Time Trainee Accounts Assistant / Technician, the firm offers services across the range of accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax, VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts etc providing an environment where you will get wide ranging exposure with the chance to really develop on the accounts preparation side as the partners are looking for key right hand support to delegate responsibility to the right person in time, to have the autonomy to prepare accounts from start to review, with increasing levels of responsibility and client contact on offer as your develop within the firm and role. This will free up their time to allow them to focus on developing and growing the practice further. Alongside this you will also deliver wider ranging accountancy practice services to clients and progress and develop within your accountancy practice career, with support on offer for studies.

Profile

The role will suit somebody looking to secure a role within accountancy or an AAT qualified or level 2 - 4 studier, with at least 2 years or more experience within the accountancy practice sector, having had experience of preparing accounts and tax returns ideally for varied sole trader, partnerships and limited company clients.

Your experience is likely to have been developed within any of a small/medium or larger independent accountancy practice, or you may have experience within the business services department within one of the larger top 50/20 firms of chartered accountants.

You will be looking for a career opportunity where you can work closely and directly with highly experienced, technically strong partners developing technically, with increasing responsibility and career progression potential on offer, along with the chance to join a growing, forward moving firm of accountants. The role will also work well for either a full time addition, as well as working equally well around the right professional with a part time working requirement with mouldable hours and days to suit.

Job Offer

Circa £15,000 - £20,000 dependent on the background and experience of the right addition, plus benefits.
