Graduate Assistant Financial Accountant

Robert Half are currently recruiting a Graduate Assistant Financial Accountant for an established business based just outside of Birmingham. This is a permanent vacancy with excellent career progression and full autonomy to enable your career to flourish.

This opportunity will be ideal for an ambitious Graduate who has recently finished University or has some experience behind them.

It is essential that you have an A Level Mathematics grade at B or above.

Role

Graduate Assistant Financial Accountant

• Assist with the preparation of management information including weekly and monthly accounts
• Liaise with the Operations and Administration team to ensure that costs are recorded
• Complete all balance sheet reconciliations in order with the company policy
• Provide financial support to senior budget holders in their decision-making process
• Assist with statutory reporting, accounts preparation and Tax
• Production of weekly performance reports for Operations Department managers to aid decision making
• Assist with the preparation and review of presentational information
• Liaise with Operation Managers to ensure that customers are billed accurately and on time
• Any other tasks that might be reasonably requested

Profile

• Graduate with a 1st or 2.1 classification
• A Level Mathematics at grade B or Above
• Aspirations of becoming a Chartered Accountant
• A fast learner with good problem-solving skills

Salary & Benefits

Up to £24,000
