A great opportunity for full time Assistant Purchase Ledger Manager role based in central Manchester. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with a strong chance of extension and further opportunities in the business.

Description

This role is reporting in to the Purchase Ledger Manager.

The duties include:

  • Post direct debits for multiple entities and oversee manual payments
  • Check all intercompany payments have been posted to the correct ledgers
  • Having total ownership of 2 small business's
  • Monitoring capital expenditure during projects - making sure PO's are correct and invoices are within budget
  • Processing repairs, maintenance and capital expenditure payments.
  • Being responsible for business rates and the group vehicle fleet.
  • Ensure ledgers are up to date
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Check all statement reconciliations are correct before management accounts look at the accruals
  • Support PL Manager
  • Dealing quickly with internal & external account queries

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

  • Have experience working in a similar role - Essential
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines - Essential
  • Have experience as a senior member of a team - Essential
  • Be confident using MS Excel - Essential
  • Have strong communication skills - Essential

Job Offer

This role is looking to pay from £22,000 to £26,000 per annum + pension + Discounts
