_The Person

You will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations of the company which spans UK and US, including preparation of timely financial information and reports. 

You will support the team in developing processes, streamlining month end procedures, investigating any variances and making recommendations based on what you find.

Working closely with the Founding Partners and Head of People and Projects you will efficiently and accurately manage all financial transactions and questions. This will include regular collaboration with the team in the UK, US and Shanghai.

 

About you:

_Qualified or part-qualified accountant status (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) 

_Experience as a Finance Manager in a small-medium sized agency

_Strong accounting, bookkeeping, and problem-solving skills

_Ability to multi-task and organise accordingly

_Attention to detail and skills to communicate financial information clearly and accurately

_Highly collaborative and able to work as part of a team

_Drive to represent the finance function professionally and as a value-added service in the business

_Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; strong experience using QuickBooks or equivalent

_The Details

_3 month probation period

_based in Old Street area of London

_supporting teams in UK (London), US (Portland) + Shanghai

_Reporting to Head of People + Projects

The Role:

_Manage the day-to-day finance operations, including payments, banking and cash flow (multi-currency) and proactive monitoring of cost control

_As a team, devise and deliver streamlined processes and methods to improve the financial running and commerciality of the business

_Responsible for statutory reporting requirements including UK and Foreign VAT returns and PAYE reporting

_Assist with statutory accounts preparation as well as liaising with auditors and external accountant in end of year processes

_Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecast

_Assist with the payroll process (administered by outsourced provider)

_Supervise an administrator and outsourced providers handling credit control, purchase ledger and company credit cards
