Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant into their Accountancy team in Guildford.
Description
* Managing and overseeing the Finance Systems and Processes so as to ensure
complete, accurate and timely capture of all financial transactions.
* Preparation of all external financial returns to include financial statements and
regulatory returns (with review by HoF) (supported by Financial Planning and Analysis
Accountant)
* Supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant in the production of regular
management accounts and information
* Supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis Accountant in the preparation of the
Budget and Forecasts
* Maintaining a streamlined and well documented period end and accounts
production process, with a view to continuous review and improvement
* All aspects of VAT and Corporation Tax administration
* Ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place and consistently operated
Profile
- Experience in a similar role
- Ideally studying towards CIMA/ACCA qualification
- Highly numerate and analytical
- Excellent MS Excel skills
