This role will be ideal for someone currently studying their AAT level 3 or 4, or alternatively in early stages of ACCA or CIMA. The business will help you continue study with a great package and would be ideal for candidates looking for their first move out of Practice..

The client is a successful business on an upward curve with extensive growth in the last few years. The finance team has a great atmosphere and offers a great route for candidates to become qualified accountants with plenty of exposure to all aspects of finance.

Description

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Supporting the Management Accountants in month end processes, including journal preparation, intercompany postings on the Finance system and reconciliation of some control accounts.
  • Processing sales ledger invoices, reconciling payments and maintaining clean sales ledgers. This will include closing sales ledgers within 3 working days of month end.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices and checking back to purchase orders.
  • Liaising with suppliers to request invoices, confirm payments and answer queries.
  • Monitor and maintain our purchase order system, ensuring all spend is authorised in line with purchase orders.
  • Preparing weekly payment runs for suppliers.

    Looking for a progressive role

    Willing to travel to Worthing

    At least a year in a finance position.
