Finance Manager role for a fast growing company on the outskirts of the city centre. They are looking for a confident, well presented individual who will be responsible for completion of various weekly, monthly and quarterly tasks as well as involvement in larger projects such as year end/budgeting.
Client Details
My client is looking for an experienced finance manager to join the team, assisting the FC and FD in the day to day running of the finance function. You will be overseeing the AP, AR, General Ledger, Month end and financial reporting.
Description
The role responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts (Prepayments and accruals, Profit & Loss, Month end close)
- Assist in completion of budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Support the implementation of a new system
- Stakeholder engagement
- VAT Preparation
- Integrating newly acquired businesses into the group
- Identifying and driving the implementation of process improvements
- Maintenance of Nominal Ledger codes
- Ensuring HMRC requirements and deadlines are met
- Manage and provide support for the finance team
- Ad-hoc duties and projects where required
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have an ability to actively engage in the business, through strong verbal communication skills and a pro-active approach
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team, while planning and prioritising tasks effectively
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have experience using an ERP system
The successful candidate should:
- Be Part/newly Qualified, studying towards a recognised professional accounting (ACCA/CIMA)
- Have relevant experience within a fast environment.
- At least 2 years of practical experience of accounting and/or banking/book keeping procedures
- Have Strong IT skills including excellent knowledge of Excel analysis and Pivot tables/V Lookups
