Finance Business Partner

Whilst acting as a bridge between Operations and Finance, the position will be involved in senior decision making through effective sue of commercial analysis within Finance.

You will pick up valued information of their business model in your progression through to Commercial Financial Controller.

As a representative of Michael Page Finance, I have made an exclusive agreement with this business to approach the finance network. The business operates on a global scale and is a leading distributor within their market. Through considerable growth and increases in their net income - they are looking to bring in a commercially minded and qualified accountant to support growth across their UK sites.

Description

You will be heavily involved in the month-end process, providing commercial insight for senior stakeholders across Operations. Therefore, you will be tasked with providing month-end analysis for sites across the UK after the budget/forecasting processes have been completed.

Furthermore, you will also complete profitability analysis of products, suppliers and customers with the site Financial Controllers to support business decisions and profitable growth.

Involvement in the capex process and drawing up appraisals to identify the effectiveness of investment.

Monitoring and bench marking of KPIs to determine focus areas relating to financial performance, to be shared with the Financial Controllers.

Challenge decisions across the business with gathered information to truly add value in their decision making process.

Profile

You MUST hold a relevant accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to converse and challenge both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Strong personality and the confidence to communicate across the business.

Previous experience in a business partnering role.

Multi-site exposure is preferable.
