Assistant Management Accountant

The role will be to assist in the preparation of the monthly accounts with duties including balance sheet reconciliations as well as annual budgeting and forecasting.

My client is a well known company who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team, and work directly with the Management Accountant.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant will include:

• General month-end accounting

• Analysing costs vs. budget/forecast

• Posting accruals and prepayments

• Account investigations for overheads and balance sheet

• Reconcile the balance sheet to highlight and correct errors

• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process

• Tracking capital expenditure and maintaining fixed asset registers

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have a pro active approach

• Have the ability communicate and influence at all levels within the business

• Have previously worked in a similar accounting role assisting with month end procedures

• Ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification
