Senior Financial Systems Accountant
- 6 months contract with a view to go permanent
- Collaborative team environment with flexibility in working arrangement
- Role is paying $100K- $130K + super
The role:
- Develop and maintain a sound knowledge financial data sources and business processes used in Finance unit to adhere financial and management reporting.
- Lead role in the design, development and implementation of new or upgrade finance systems to ensure seamless integration with other finance systems and business processes.
- Preparation, review and maintenance of all financial system procedures and policies.
- Assist in the preparation of Delivery Program, Annual Financial Statements, Taxation requirements and other tasks as requested.
Key Requirements:
- CA/ CPA/ Qualified
- Extensive experience (min 5 years) in a financial and/or management accounting role, or in a systems accounting role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects successfully
- Experience in business process improvement through the application of technology
- Solid working understanding of computerised accounting systems and the integration points between different finance modules.
- Comprehensive understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and the Local Government Code of Accounting Practice.
