Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy

• Works with the business functions leads to produce a needs assessment that is aligned to their business plans
• Contributes to the development of IT Category Management strategy that focuses on supplier cost reduction, through needs assessments, consolidation and expense / demand management

Stakeholder Management

• Agrees Technology Category Management action plans with the business
• Understands the global view of IT category needs by ensuring the global cross functional teams input to develop and agree on the global category management strategy

• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Effective influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to be a creative strategic thinker and execute against approved category strategies.
• Specific IT category knowledge, advanced understanding of the market, extensive experience and backgound in sourcing Technology.
• Excellent commercial acumen.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong project management.
• Knowledge of the bank's structure and the products / services it provides to its clients.
• Academic or Professional Education/Qualifications; Educated at undergraduate level
• Professional Memberships; CIPs or similar is beneficial
