Hangar is seeking a highly motivated Divisional Controller to join our team in Austin, TX.. The Divisional Controller will take ownership of the daily operations of the accounting function as well as prepare for and guide Hangar through systems conversions, audits, etc. The Divisional Controller will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our accounting and finance infrastructure and will join Hangar at an incredibly exciting time as we grow into a world–class enterprise.
This position is located in Austin, TX, and will report to the Vice President of Finance.
ResponsibilitiesManage end to end accounts payable and process from creation of suppliers in Netsuite, preparation of invoices for approval and payment, and application of expenses to appropriate GL accountsManage accounts receivable billing, collection and AR aging review processesInvestigate and resolve any general ledger discrepanciesAssist with monthly margin analysis, revenue/AR reconciliation, and other ad hoc reportingFacilitate the expense reimbursement processes and manage adherence to company guidelinesContribute to the full cycle accounting process including journal entries, month–end close, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparationAssist with the maintenance and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and accrualsRequirementsBachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience7–12 years accounting experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting. 1+ years of NetSuite (or equivalent ERP systems) experienceAbility to work independently and with teams across the organizationIn–depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Advanced MS Excel experienceExcellent communication skills and ability to work independently PreferredCPA preferredIn–depth knowledge of Netsuite or previous Netsuite administrator experienceProficiency with Expensify, GSuite, NexoniaStart–up experience
