Harvey Nash is partnering Drax Power Group in recruiting a Business Analyst to join the greatest renewable generator in the UK on a permanent basis in Selby.

Drax Power Group has been on a major transformation journey and ships millions of tonnes of fuels worldwide, influences ports UK wide and now with an ever-increasing presence in the United States is starting to gage major traction and branding across the globe.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who will have the ability to quickly understand the business issues and strategic goals of the organisation and industry that will feed in to the business case.

What does the role entail?
  • Facilitate scoping and business priority-setting for change initiatives of medium size and complexity

  • Work with the architects to transform and develop new requirements into application design and implementation, ensuring they align with the IT architecture strategy

  • Lead analysis on activities on small/medium projects with a typical budget value of £1million

  • Model 'As Is' and 'To Be' encompassing business processes, systems and people

You will be able to articulate your ideas effectively and have excellent communication skills.

What we're looking for?
  • The confidence to facilitate and document workshops, demonstrations, presentation and meetings

  • Ability to network with, negotiate with, and influence a wide range of people with different backgrounds, responsibilities and motivations

  • The capability to assimilate large volumes data and translate it into business problems, requirements and solutions, making recommendations based on your understanding of stakeholder needs and constraints that are in place

  • Experienced Business Analysts with a desire to be a part of Drax's journey
