LOCATION:This position is located in the Clear Lake area.
The Salesforce Business Analyst role makes a difference in our members' lives by implementing solutions to automate and improve business processes attributed to the overall member experience. This role supports and drives initiatives under the direction of the VP Digital Experiences. This role will be responsible for implementing solutions to automate and improve productivity of the business processes across core functions (Retail Market, Marketing, Tech Support, and Finance) for a rapidly growing organization. The ideal candidate possesses the skills to analyze complex business processes and lean out the process with a focus on workflow automation and digitization. Salesforce Business Analyst is responsible for business need gathering, Salesforce configuration, testing, training and post deployment support. Experience with Financial Services Cloud and Marketing Cloud highly preferable. ?? Partner with Digital Product Manager to build prioritized roadmap of additional use cases through 2020;?? Assist with Lean Business Case development and Cost/Benefit analysis for initiatives;?? Document current business processes and understand business strategy to recommend Salesforce solutions that meet a business unit's overall vision;?? Develop user stories and to–be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions;?? Participate in key meetings with Business teams including design ideation sessions, story–writing workshops, system demonstrations, user acceptance testing, and end user training;?? Partner with Business Analysts for DocuSign, Tableau, and other enterprise systems to define the optimal business solution;?? Collaborate with developers, QA and Business teams to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements;?? Complete the configuration for user stories within Salesforce, AppExchange products, or other cloud–based technologies. Maintain and enhance workflows, function and configurations within Salesforce;?? Configure and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, custom workflows, notifications, approval processes, Process Builder and Visual Workflow;?? Partner with stakeholders to prepare for Go–Live and post–go live support;?? Experience with needs of a change management plan for Go–Live deployment activities and post install checkout activities;?? Work with Business Performance Analyst to develop and maintain analytics through reports and dashboards;?? Provide support for application related issues;?? Develop and/or maintain training documentation and materials;?? Fosters a positive and engaging work environment for team members;?? Collaborate with members of the management team; and?? Assumes responsibility for related duties and special projects as required or assigned; EXPERIENCE: ?? Experience using Salesforce CRM to develop business solutions.?? 2+ years administering a Salesforce environment, or a Trailhead portfolio that demonstrates a broad base of Salesforce knowledge.?? Hands on experience configuring Salesforce or similar CRM Product, including workflows, validation rules, and security controlsStrong written and verbal business communication skills.Ability to apply business practices and acumen to internal customer requests to validate alignment with organization goals. Strong technical aptitude and problem–solving approach.Strong internal stakeholder/customer service skills.Ability to use research to resolve issues and escalate issues as needed.Ability to develop test scripts and execute testing scenarios.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve team success.Ability to occasionally travel as needed (10% or less). PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: ?? Salesforce Administrator (ADM201), Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM211), and Salesforce Platform App Builder?? Exposure/Experience with other Salesforce Apps/Installed Packages such as: DocuSign, Mulesoft, OnBase, and DocuSign ?? Experience with APEX – Salesforce's programming language?? Experience with Visualforce ?? Lightning component knowledge?? Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, sprint planning and execution. EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in a Business–related field of studyAdmin 201 certification and Platform App Builder Certification. INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
