Job Description In BriefThis position reports directly to the Controller and is primarily responsible for supporting the accounting department in all accounting functions related to accounts payable and Treasury related functions. Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals, ledgers, and/or computers. Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables. Complete period–end closing procedures and reports as specified. Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures. Follow–up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices until payment in full is received or resolved. Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received by all cash handling employees. Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances. Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts.Key Roles Accounts Payable Supervisor Reconciliation of Key General ledger accounts Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements Answer accounting procedure questions in accordance with company policy and guidelines Fielding vendor inquiries regarding accounts Oversee various accounting areas assuring tasks are being completed accurately and timely Treasury functions responsibilities (setting up wires, reviewing bank balances) Credit Card workflow Reconcile and prepayment expirationRequired Qualifications4 years of relevant accounting experience, namely in the areas of general financial accounting, procure–to–pay, and order–to–cashPrevious experience working with foreign exchange rates and withholding taxesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint) and Quantum Component ControlStrong written and oral communication skillsOrganized and strong attention to detail with proven ability to independently resolve problemsAbility to work independently under general supervisionExperience in the Aviation industry a huge plus!!Regional One is an industry–leading seller and lessor of regional aircraft and aircraft engines, parts, and components.
