Financial Controller - Kingston
Main Purpose of Job The management and analysis of revenue and expenditure activities for the Company and its clients in an effort to responsibly and accurately account for all financial movements and transactions, in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company.
The ideal candidate must be a strong collaborator with a proven track record of working well and who is able to work with large volumes of data efficiently under pressure. He or she must have the ability to consistently meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple deliverables concurrently in a fast-paced environment, all while remaining flexible and adaptable.
Qualification & Experience
* ACCA and/or Master's degree in Finance/Business Administration;
* Minimum 5 years' broad financial experience, including 6 years' experience in a senior position and in a similar capacity;
* Significant Experience in using spreadsheets.
Knowledge & Skills Required
* Knowledge of Accounting and IT requirements & solutions;
* Proven track record of success in the fields of Finance and Accounting;
* Team leader with confidence & credibility;
* Excellent communication and organisational skills;
* Ability to manage change and deliver under demanding deadlines.
Key Responsibilities & Activities
* Prepare budget, forecasts and qualitative information analysis for effective management decisions;
* Prepare year end accounts in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards;
* Produce monthly management reports;
* Monitor internal controls and assess their adequacy and effectiveness;
* Manage Finance team and provide advice and recommendation to the senior management team;
* Plan and optimize the strategic position of the company for greater economic growth.
