Our client, an exclusive hotel, based in the city centre are recruiting for a Financial Controller to lead the finance function. You will work closely with the General Manager and under the guidance of the Group CFO. You will lead a team of 5.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the finance function of the hotel, including budgets, preparing and analysing P&L statements, cash flows and a short and long term forecast and plan for capital expenditure.
- Assists and provides financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of the business plan, hotel and departmental budgets and objectives programme, and to manage relevant budgets appropriately.
- Establishes, documents and enforces adequate controls for all revenues and expenses and protection of assets, and ensures controls will satisfy or improve the level of guest service.
- Maximise cash flow performance of the business through controls on inventory, income, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits and remittances and expenditure.
The ideal candidate:
- Must have experience in a similar role in Food & Beverage operations or hospitality industry
- Has excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Has a positive attitude to work
