Role description Your ability to focus on our clients and deliver innovative tax solutions will be enhanced by our existing deep relationships with FTSE organisations. Our dedicated London FTSE tax team encompasses transfer pricing, treasury tax and tax depreciation specialists and you will work within this eclectic team as a corporate tax advisor, with a clear path for career progression. You will receive continuous in-house training to develop and hone your technical, industry and soft skills.
Location You will be based in a Deloitte London office, however travel will be required for client based projects. Whilst most clients are London based, some time will be spent off-site with regional and international clients.
Hours This is a permanent role with a degree of flexibility. We do encourage careful consideration of agile ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients.
Responsibilities
  • Managing and delivering complex cross border tax advice
  • Advising UK-based FTSE firms on a range of Tax matters.
  • Supporting our transfer pricing technical specialists, including business model optimisation
  • Corporate transaction support
  • Dealing with HM Revenue and Customs on technical matters
  • Tax accounting and audit support work

Requirements Associate Director - you will need:
  • Exposure to key principle of Tax including Transfer Pricing, International Tax, Treasury Tax & Tax Depreciation.
  • Experience of working with major, UK-based, international organisations.
  • The ability to exercise judgement and apply commercial thinking in making client recommendations.
  • ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification or experience (either fully or exam qualified)
  • UK Corporate Tax experience gained within the accountancy profession
  • Exposure to international clients
