My client within the logistics sector is searching for a well-groomed Financial Controller to form part of their finance team. The company has a footprint internationally and they require a focused and hands on individual for the position.Education:
- Completed Matric Certificate
- Completed degree in Financial Management / Accounting
- 2-4 years' experience within a similar role
- Experience working in a logistic environment
- Energetic and a self-starter
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge on AccPac
- Experience working on Cargowise will be advantageous
- Maintain financial accounts
- Prepare management and financial reports
- Identify risks and suggest solutions
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts
- Monitor working capital and possible shortfalls.
- Ensure timely repayment
- Confirm Inter-co balances
- Submission of tax returns
- Co-ordinate and assist in Annual Review and Compilation of Annual Financial Statements
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
