The successful candidate will join the accounts team with a long term vision to develop themselves within the company's' organisation.
The Role:
- Double entry bookkeeping
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Cashbook
- Banking
- Bank reconciliations
- Post and allocate bank payments and receipts
- Process expenses
- Petty cash
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing and posting journals
- VAT returns
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Ad hoc duties as required by the team
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Must be computer literate, especially on Excel, Outlook and Word
- Preferably AAT qualified or currently studying
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
- Energetic and enthusiastic
- Self-driven and eager to succeed
- Dynamic and a team player
