Interim Tax Senior or Manager 4 - 6 months

As a result of growth a leading firm of chartered accountants based in Orpington is looking for an experienced personal tax professional to join their highly regarded tax team on an interim basis.

You will be joining as a key addition at Personal Tax Seniro or Manager level, undertaking an compliance advisory / planning focused role. Excellent career prospects are on offer with a clear progression path and chance to carve an influential role.

Client Details

A leading, reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Orpington. The firm has been undergoing sustained positive growth mostly through new client work coming and ongoing new recurring fees, being generated from referrals and the strength of the firms reputation, brand and quality of service.

The firms tax team is headed by a well regarded tax professional in a team of around ten individuals of varying levels, experience and background. The firm services a wide range of private clients, encompassing directors of wide ranging corporate clients, OMBs and SMEs, HNWIs, both UK based and internationally mobile, property investors and landlords and wide range of other private clients.

Description

Joining the Orpington offices as Personal Tax Manager you will take an advisory / planning lead with clients, delivering on a wide range of personal tax compliance and planning project work across areas such as IHT, capital tax planning, trusts, international tax project work and other planning opportunities for wide ranging directors and business owners, HNWIs, landlords and other wide ranging clients.

You will have opportunity to develop client relationships with a decent degree of autonomy, whilst with the support and backing of the wider partner and director group, as well as being supported by the wider tax team. There will be clear opportunity to play a lead role in furthering the growth and development of the firms tax department, with opportunity to carve an influential position within this leading tax team with associated career progression potential on offer.

Profile

You are likely to be CTA qualified and/or, ACA/ACCA/ATT etc having developed your career to Personal Tax Manager levels within an accountancy practice firm career background. You will have developed your career within personal tax , with demonstrable experience delivering wide ranging personal tax compliance and ideally good experience of advisory / tax planning work in addition to a mixed, varied client base of private client individuals. You will also be able to demonstrate a strength in developing strong client relationships, with excellent communication skills and be motivated by the chance to work with partners and directors on the further growth of an already successful tax service line.

Job Offer

£40,000 - £60,000 dependent on background, level and experience of the right professional , plus benefits.
