Marc Daniels are working closely with a key client to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant based in Wokingham. The role will be reporting to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation of management accounts for a recently acquired UK and Ireland subsidiaries, including balance sheet and profit and loss, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Responsible for local statutory filing and working with external tax advisors
- Responsible for completing corporation tax returns
- Responsible for carrying out intercompany reconciliations
- Responsible for budgeting and preparation using TM1 Software
- Maintenance of cash book and completion of month end journals
The ideal candidate would:
- Currently be studying for CIMA or ACCA qualifications and considered to be at or close to Part Qualified.
- Have achieved their qualifications so far while working in a financial role which complements the studies for at least 1 year.
- Be familiar with accounting processes and current accounting standards
- Have a good knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
- Have excellent communication skills.
Special Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to other UK offices on a regular basis (likely either weekly or fortnightly), with occasional travel to Europe and possibly US
- Foreign language skills would be advantageous
- Some US GAAP experience an advantage
