An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading manufacturing firm based in brand new offices close to the centre of Blackburn. This company are expanding internationally and have recently won several major new contracts making it an exciting time to join the business. They are investing heavily in the Blackburn site and can offer career progression opportunities.

Description

The Purchase Ledger role is initially a temporary assignment which could be extended.

You will have the opportunity to look after:

  • Processing invoices on a daily basis

  • Matching invoices to PO's

  • Posting payables invoices into cash

  • Vendor reconciliations

  • Consolidating invoice creations

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Processing payment runs

  • General ledger postings and account balance verification

  • Month end closing procedure's

  • Liaising with vendors and performing new vendor set up

  • Processing staff expenses

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

Have previous experience in purchase ledger

Be available to consider a temporary role initially
