Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Commentary on variances giving complete insight into what is driving the variances.

• Liaise with the relevant departments to ensure that costs are recorded on an accurate and timely basis and any variances to plan are investigated.

• Identifying areas of improvement and development and implementing the process within the team.

• Understand the drivers of current performance and challenge current thinking.

• Calculating, reviewing & posting of accruals.

• Production and analysis of stock adjustment tracker report.

• Review and analysis of monthly payroll.

• Preparation of Distribution budgets & forecast.

• Shared Responsibility for updating the daily cashflow.

• Responsibility for a number of balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist with year end audit.

• Providing support to senior Management Accountant.

• Project work as required.

Profile

Successful Candidate:

• Part Qualified and actively studying.
• Keen eye for details.
• Excellent Excel skills - V lookups/Pivots/Summifs.
• Excellent communication skills - Both written & verbal.
