Alexander Lloyd are proud to be supporting a leading retailer with an exciting position, based out of their South Croydon office.
We're looking for a technically strong Assistant Management Accountant to join the team on a full time and permanent basis. There are a broad range of duties associated with this role, including but not limited to;
·Assist the Senior Management Accountant with management accounts
·Provide full variance analysis and commentary for a number of cost centres, highlighting the drivers behind variances
·Identifying areas of improvements and implementing new processes
·Calculating, reviewing and posting of accruals
·Analysis and review of monthly payroll
·Budgeting and forecasting
·Balance sheet reconciliations
·Assisting with year end audit
Ideal candidates will;
·Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
·Minimum of 3 years Management Accounts experience
·Strong knowledge of accruals and prepayments
·Demonstrable intermediate Excel skills
·Commercially focused mindset with the ability to challenge current thinking
