Reporting to: President
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and innovative individual that's looking to make an impact in fast–paced environment. We are looking for an experienced financial controller to help with all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures.
Specifically, the Controller will:
Implement and operate the financial components of the manufacturing ERP systemManage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting Assist the President with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variancesAssist the President to prepare and publish timely monthly financial statementsSupport month–end and year–end close processManage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filingsAdditional financial and operational duties as necessary
Qualifications & Experience:
The Controller will have an undergraduate degree and;: Some work experience as a financial controller preferred3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceDegree in Accounting or Finance preferredCPA or CMA preferredThorough knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresExperience with creating financial statementsExperience with general ledger functions and the month–end/year end close processExcellent accounting software user and administration skills
