(Senior) Accounting Manager (Accounting Management and Control)

Responsibilities:

Supervising managers to perform monthly closing and prepare reports as management required
Manage implementation of projects on accounting systems
Design internal accounting control procedures and perform examination of policy compliance in accounting treatment
Participate in developing and maintaining procedure manuals
Prepare analytical reports and participate in ad hoc projects to support management's decision and departmental operation

Requirements:

Degree with major in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
Qualified member of HKICPA or other professional accountancy bodies
At least 8 years' bank experience in financial reporting or audit experience in a Big Four or recognized reputable accounting firm/banking industry, of which 3 years in a managerial position
Good knowledge of Hong Kong GAAP, IFRS and relevant regulations
Solid knowledge in financial analysis, strong analytical skills and critical mindset, capable of examining and analyzing financial and management information with business acumen
Strong mastery of MS Office, particularly in Excel and Chinese word processing
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
Independent, self-motivated with strong managerial and communications skills, and able to work under pressure with tight schedule
Knowledge and experience in participating in system design and implementation is an advantage

Applicant with less experience will be considered as Accounting Manager
