Based in Taunton, this accountancy practice has an excellent reputation across the country and further afield for providing quality services and added value project work to its varied client base with a focus on developing partner/director led long term, business partnering relationships. Due to a strategy for growth and planning for the future development of the business, the partners are looking for the right individual who can develop the firm and progress within the organisation, as a key addition at this higher end at Senior Client Manager / Director level, mouldable to fit and work and around the background, experience and level of the right professional.
Description
Whilst you will have the expected responsibilities of managing a client portfolio and wider support team covering a wide range of business sectors, delivering accounting, taxation and wide ranging general accountancy practice services, as an all around accounts/tax etc general practitioner and business advisor, you will also have a very partner led service approach developing long term, business partnering relationships with your clients, becoming a trusted go to advisor. You will deliver advice across a wide spectrum of business, tax planning and added value services with the firm focusing on working with growth focused OMBs, SMEs and corporate clients typically up to the audit threshold in turnover. Growth advice, succession planning, mergers and acquisitional and transaction services advice are common examples of project work, alongside a wide range of other accounting/business and tax planning advice you will huge opportunity for involvement with. You will therefore take a lead in providing business advice, managing staff, workload and budgets and look to grow the team and department. The opportunity therefore provides a genuine chance to develop towards partnership/directorship quickly, with the associated skills required and you will be expected to demonstrate the ability to step up into this level of role.
Profile
You will be any of ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualified, with a strong background in accountancy practice, with skills across any of audit, accounts, tax, etc, as an all round, general practitioner with a small, medium or large independent firm background. Alternatively, you may have trained within this firm environment as an all around general practice Senior / Manager etc , subsequently moved out into larger Top 50, Mid or Top Tier/ Top 4 firm environment working within any discipline area now and be looking for a career move into a growth focused, independent firm where you can see a clear path to progress on offer, along with the opportunity to truly add value to growing SMEs/OMBs and corporate clients. It is likely you will be at either around the Senior Manager or salaried Associate/Director levels and be looking to progress over time and be able to demonstrate the skills required to progress your career in a growth focused business.
Job Offer
