Description
Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their Accountancy team in Woking on a contract basis.
- Be responsible for the maintenance and updating of the finance system.
- To produce monthly reconciliation reports
- To assist project managers in the bidding for new grants by producing costings.
- To produce project statements for all external grants and PI as required and to deadline.
- To meet regularly with Scientists to discuss their budget/actual spend.
- To produce grant income figures for budget and Business Plan.
- Projects set up and maintenance in the Access System
- Raising project related invoices through Access System
- Plus any ad-hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful candidate will have experience with the above & be available on short notice.
