Description
Key Responsibilities for an SME manager would be:
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Supervise and control the preparation of statutory and non-statutory financial statements
- Supervise and control the performance of audit testing
- Supervise, review and control the work of accountants and trainees
- Act as a line manager, and perform interim and annual appraisals
- Control and perform ad hoc assignments
- Respond to client queries
- Attend and present at client meetings
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional work across the firm
- Manage work in progress as raise appropriate bills for partners approval
- Engage in business development activities to help increase the size and value of portfolio
Profile
The successful candidate for the SME Manager role would have:
- ACCA/ACA/AAT Qualifications
- I.T literate - Excel (creation and manipulation of spreadsheet, data, sorting, formula's Word (Letter, tables, reports
- Good report writing skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience of creating & maintaining good working relationships with key stakeholders
