Our client is a growing and specialist distribution business, based in Thame, East Oxfordshire.

Description

The key responsibilties of this Interim role will be:

• Management of a team of 4

• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including review and commentary on revenue, gross profit, margins and variances.

• Submission of monthly SAP returns to German corporate shareholder

• Coordination and direction of the preparation of annual budgets

• Liasing with the commercial team regarding proposed large equipment sales to ensure these are accounted for appropriately and in line with company policy

• Month and Year End procedures

• Maintainance and review of all internal controls and procedures within the business and implementation of improvements as appropriate

• Prepartion of UK & Irish Payrolls for 3rd party processing including payrolled benefits and administer pension schemes, employee benefits and submit returns to HMRC including P11D and PSA

• Assist in the production of statutory accounts.

• Providing financial data & analysis to senior management and stakeholders

Profile

For this key Interim role, we are looking for a fully qualifiedCIMA/ACCA/ACA Accountant, with solid experience within Finance.

You will have ideally had previous Financial Controller experience with a distribution / manufacturing business including exposure to stock accounting

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision (NAV/BC365) and JET reporting is desirable though not essential

It is essential that you also have excellent attention to detail and are proficient with Excel (Pivot, Vlookup)

Strong communication & interpersonal skills are key for this role.

Job Offer

£275-350/day dependant on level and experience
