Commercial Finance Manager

Michael Page are exclusively partnering with a large blue chip organisation who are looking to bring in a commercial Finance Manager to specifically focus on the commercial finance for new business development/generation and to partner closely with the sales team. Due to an internal reorganisation, the business are looking to bring in an experience/qualified commercial manager to take control of this role.

Client Details

Our client are a large technology business situated in Wokingham, due to excellent business performance, there is a need to bring in a more senior commercial Finance Manager into the business. This role is reporting into a commercial Director who wants to mentor and support the new hire to ensure they progress their career throughout the organisation.

Description

The main responsibilities for the commercial Finance Manager is to have full control over the bids proposal process with the sales team. You will act as a business partner to the sales team ensuring that all deal negotiations have complex financial models supporting the decisions. You will work with external clients to educate them on the commercial analysis around the proposals for new business generation. You will be the last line of defence in identifying commercial risks within the bids proposal process and will work closely with legal on contact approvals.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a number of years post qualification experience. You will have some exposure to commercial finance including complex financial modelling and deal negotiation expertise. Ideally you will have some experience of working with legal on contract issues.
