The successful Graduate Tax Trainee will have an important role in assisting with the preparation of tax returns for the private client team and provide assistance to more senior personal tax staff. They take responsibility for the personal tax compliance on a portfolio of clients including preparing the tax returns and liaising with the client and HMRC. Graduate Tax Trainee with Study Support - Your main responsibilities will include:

Liaising with clients and collating tax return information
Inputting private client data into the tax return system and preparing personal tax returns
Provide support to the Tax Seniors and Tax Manager
Processing the amendments to the tax returns following review
Liaison with HM Revenue & Customs
Contacting clients directly as required

Profile

Graduate Tax Trainee with Study Support

Good numerical skills
2.2 or above in Accountancy & Finance
Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
Be methodical & organised
The ability to take responsibility for tasks and deadlines
Flexibility to meet client/department needs and deadlines
Competent IT skills particularly in Excel and Word
Excellent interpersonal skills.
