A leading and highly reputable chartered, accountancy practice based in Taunton is searching for a client facing, Business Services Senior to join their successful team, in a client support role, supporting clients with making tax digital changes, preparing accounts, management accounts, vat returns, bookkeeping, tax and other services. You will carve a key role here, adding value to clients and assisting them with these transitions.

Description

Joining the firm, as a Business Services Senior, based from their Taunton offices, you will carve a key role, hands on and client facing role here, as you develop within this firm and environment. Acting for varied sole trader, partnership and limited company SME's and OMB's of varying size and industry sector, you will deliver accounts preparation, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and other services, with potential involvement in tax and other areas, alongside this, to your clients. As you develop within the role, there will be scope to offer a key support facility to clients, making the transition with making tax digital, assisting clients with these changes, with the potential for a client facing element to your role, on client site. You will therefore have the potential to carve a key role here and will indeed be encouraged and supported, to develop your technical skills and progress in this successful firm.

Profile

Whilst holding an AAT qualification may be a bonus, or studying AAT/ACCA/ACA etc (full study support on offer), if supported by a relevant career history and technical skill set, a strong, relevant, experienced background only, is equally of interest, as well.

You will have anything from 2 - 3 years, or significantly more experience within accountancy, in your career so far, as an accounting technician, assistant accountant, business services senior etc. Individuals with a background working within the accountancy practice sector, for a firm of any size, preparing accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping and other services, for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, will be of high interest.

Job Offer

£18,000 - £26,000 plus benefits, negotiable, dependent on experience and background.
