Our client is looking for a Management Accountant to join their Accountancy team at their office in Croydon.
Description
Main Duties:
- Assist in reporting of company financial position
- Run month end account processes and prepare management accounts as required.
- Investigate and explain weekly all margins including variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly analysis of overhead absorption, calculating annual absorption rates
- Annual cost roll of all production items in accordance with the timetable
- Responsible for all matters related to Fixed Assets
- Internal weekly/monthly reporting as required
- Responsible for all aspects the General Ledger
- Prepare yearly submissions for HMRC as required
- Deputise for the Finance Manager where necessary
- Assist in all taxation matters
- Respond to information requests or research
- Provide cover for the Credit Controller/ Purchase Ledger Controller where necessary

The successful candidate:
- Part-Qualified
- Advanced excel & other Microsoft Office products
- Eye for detail
- Strong communication skills
- Adherence to deadlines
