Stock Accountant

Working in partnership with the Finance Manager the Stock Accountant will be overseeing, reporting and analysing stock flow across the wider business while supporting the accountancy team. Description

The Stock Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparing reports in line with performances and productions
• Supporting with the controlling of costs across European sites
• Stock margin analysis
• Working with the wider finance team, with regards to forecasting
• Overseeing and rationalising stock movements across the business
• Delivering reports on variance analysis
• Process improvements & implementations to improve accuracy and forecasting activities
• Adhoc project work where required

Profile

The successful Stock Accountant will have:

• Experience within a similar role
• Manufacturing/FMCG experience will be highly beneficial
• Relevant degree, Finance, Economics, Business - desirable
• Very self-motivated
• Highly literate in Excel
• SAP - highly desirable
• Driven by business success
• Knowledge of stock movements/analysis - essential
• Very flexible approach to working
