The role of the Tax and Trust accountant is so work as part of the Tax and Paralegal team, looking after the administration of a number of trusts of different types with varying assets and provides tax and accounting support to them and other clients.

They are the biggest specialist solicitors within wealth management and asset protection outside of London. Description

The Sheffield based role of Tax and Trust Accountant would be responsible for the following;

• Trust tax compliance

• Preparation of the Trust accounts

• Partnering with clients, trustees and beneficiaries

• Leading the tax compliance reviews, and leading all Tax based accounting

• Maintenance of Tax and Trust documents

Profile

The successful candidate for the role of Tax and Trust Accountant should possess the following;

• A professional accountancy qualification is preferred but not necessary

• Sound knowledge of income tax, capital gains and inheritance tax

• Experience will computing software associated with tax return prep

• Trust accounts experience

• Be able to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment

• Be confident in their ability to work independently and proactively

• Excellent written and verbal communication
