Credit Controller/Accounts Receivable Officer

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: My client a FMCG company based in North Ryde are looking for a as a Credit Officer to join their team. You will work in an inclusive and friendly team. Enjoy working in contemporary environment with colourful break-out spaces, modern furniture and spacious, light-filled open-plan offices.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Ensuring compliance with our credit policies and procedures
• Ensuring cash collections are maintained in accordance with applicable trading terms and credit limits set
• Completing reconciliations, allocating invoices and payments, processing rebate journals, refunding payments, processing remittances, updating customer notes and preparation of legal files
• Opening of new accounts, updating the customer master data maintenance records and generating new account letters
• Liaising with the Sales team to maximise collections of debt and claim resolution
• Issuing customer statements, providing invoices, credit notes and proof of deliveries

ABOUT YOU:

• Experience of rebates and claims handling and accounts receivable processes
• Great analytical skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• An accounting background is preferable but not essential
