(Associate) Finance Manager, FP&A - Career Day

Job Purpose
This role provides an opportunity to work in a high-energy and dynamic organization supporting business units in Nielsen China. The position will directly report to VP, FP&A Leader, North East Asia & Pacific and will be based in Shanghai with limited travel.

Essential Responsibilities 
● Lead the preparation of forecasts and budgets for Opex and Capex including consolidation, forecasting and reporting of the P&L
● Responsible for reporting and analyzing financial results and communicating financial performance in presentations
● Analyze plans and forecast to understand variances to prior year and budget as well as identify risks and opportunities  
● Monthly and quarterly closes: assist with the P&L close and pacing process; communicate regularly with operation team and FP&A
● Ensure smooth and effective communication and timely and accurate reporting of the operation and financial results 
● Partner with each market’s BU leader and Finance leader to perform financial analysis on key projects/issues and assist them to increase revenue or reduce cost through smart financial decisions
● Provide business decision support through strategic thought leadership and financial analysis.  Assist in evaluating business initiatives

Qualifications/Requirements 

Basic Qualifications
● Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
● Minimum 4 years of finance work experience
