Credit Controller

Working within the Accountancy team as one of seven credit controllers. This is a six month fixed term contract with the possibility of permanent opportunities upon completion of the contract - depending on the performance of the successful candidate. The position is full time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM.

Description

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Maximise debt collection and minimise bad debt
• Achieve and maintain an excellent standard of cash collection
• Monitor problem accounts/liaise with field based team
• Change of tenancy and credit approval
• Cash allocation
• Inbound and outbound calls
• Monitoring of payment agreements
• Ensure efficiency of payment methods
• Organisation and attend debt reviews
• Supervision of further debt recovery/litigation
• Collation of data

Profile

The Successful Credit Controller Will Have:

• The ability to commit to a full time, six month fixed term contract
• The ability to travel to and from Chester
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Adaptable to change
• Comprehensive knowledge of working within a similar role
