We are proud to be supporting a fast paced and leading retailer, who are based in the Croydon area and operate UK wide.
We're seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is diverse in terms of duties, which include but are not limited to;
·Prepare, review and provide commentary for c.40 cost centres
·Full variance analysis with the associated commentary
·Gain full understanding of performance drivers and challenge current thinking
·Ensure all costs are recorded through liaising with relevant departments
·Investigating all variances
·Calculating, reviewing and processing accruals
·Production and analysis of stock adjustment tracker report
·Stock accounting
·Review and analysis the monthly payroll
·Prepare budgets and forecasts
·Assist with year end audit
·Provide support to Senior Management Accountant
·Ad hoc and project duties as required
Ideal candidates will;
·Be part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/designated accounting qualification)
·Hold c.3 months experience within a similar Management Accounting position
·Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V/H-Lookups, SumIfs, etc.)
·Have a driven attitude with a hunger to progress
·Strong commercial awareness alongside sound technical accounting skills
·Strong communication skills
·Experience with variance analysis
·Confidence when communicating with key stakeholders
