An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Group Accountant to join a large and dynamic manufacturing company based in Hampshire. You will be directly reporting into the Chief Accountant but have multiple stakeholder relationships to interact with in a variety of sectors. You will be responsible for leading the production of Group consolidated results and the preparation of Group annual reports and UK statutory accounts under FRS 102.

To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:
  • Qualified Accountant- ACA or ACCA (Ideally big 4 trained).
  • University degree.
  • Experience of Group consolidation systems (HFM or BPC is ideal)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to prioritise and manage tasks efficiently to deliver against required timescales.
  • The ability to build strong, professional relationships across the business.
  • A solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication with various stakeholders at a variety of levels.

A little more information about the role:
  • Reporting directly to the Chief Accountant and interaction with key stakeholders including the CFO and Group FC.
  • Consolidation of the Group's monthly financial results.
  • Analysis and reconciliation of key balance sheet and P&L areas highlighting any potential issues that can then be resolved in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of cashflow statements and cash flow analysis.
  • Support the Chief Accountant in preparing the Group Annual report.
  • Owning the preparation of all UK subsidiary accounts.
  • Liaison with the Taxation department to enable effective compliance.
